Summary: I am the 3rd owner of this 2008 Saab 9-7x, affectionately named the "Swedish Meatball Machine" with factory Carbon Flash Metallic Paint. I am listing this vehicle because I recently leased a pickup truck for work. If you have had a chance to drive both the Chevrolet Trailblazer SS and the Saab 9-7x Aero you can immediately tell the difference when you are in the Saab, it is a much quieter ride due to all of the additional work Saab Engineers did to absorb sound by using laminated glass, unique door seals, and sound absorbing material throughout. The ride quality feels tighter and more balanced as well due to the additional suspension work that was done, and the premium quality fabrics/leather are a step-up. During the installation, no factory wire harness was cut. All of the speakers were replaced with Alpine SPR-17s Component Speakers in the front with the tweeters mounted in the factory location in the dash, and Alpine SPR-50 Speakers in the rear. An Alpine KTP-445U Amplifier was mounted in the factory location in the rear and Monster Cable Amp Wiring was used to connect the head unit. A mic was mounted in the factory location where the original Onstar speaker was and call quality is excellent. The system sounds amazing, and the Navigation/CarPlay is fantastic. The standard soft nuance heated leather-trimmed seats, with six-way power adjustment, electrical lumbar and recline for both front seats, and leather-trimmed rear seats, are among the Saab 9-7Xs many standard features. The front door sills of the Saab 9-7X feature brushed aluminum, with the word Saab prominently de-bossed in bright, polished aluminum lettering. The backs of the seats, headrests, center console lid and even the door armrests, as well as the shifter boot and parking brake, are tailored with luxury French seam stitching. All sew lines and seat trenches are tight and small. This not only ensures a detailed, high-end upholstered appearance, but one crafted to be durable and eliminate the possibility of a “stretched seam” appearance over time. An important element of quality is quietness. The Saab 9-7X engineers incorporated insulation measures, including * An acoustically laminated windshield; * Laminated front door glass; * Door primary seal designs providing sealing and wind noise attenuation; * Passenger compartment mat assembly, constructed of both a sound barrier and a sound absorber; * Engine side front of dash sound absorber; * More than a dozen sound absorbing insulators in the doors, pillars and panels, made of composite and/or fiberglass materials (strategically located around speakers, door handles or body structural gaps and openings). Exterior Familiar Saab Curvaceous Front . The headlamps use three independent lighting units, with separate lamps for the high and low beam, as well as the park/turn signals, including daytime running light functions. The high-intensity discharge (HID) lamps for the low beam provides even greater nighttime visibility. Projector beam fog lamps are standard. Small, round and laser-like, they contribute to the precision and overall balance of the front-end design. The Saab 9-7X's profile is clean, smooth and uninterrupted, without big bumper offsets or protruding shapes and forms with no bodyside moldings. The roof rails taper down and forward in front, picking up the trajectory of the windshield profile and accelerates higher as it goes rearward to create a kind of forward thrust before tapering down at the back. It has chrome accent bars and a brightly painted silver base. The roof rails cross bars accept all the same support hardware as the 9-5 SportWagon, making it easy to add Saab-common accessories.

Selling my 2008 Saab 9-7x Aero, one of 442 Aero models made that year and one of only 554 total production from 2008 – 2009. This is a rare vehicle to begin with, and getting rarer every day. This is essentially a Chevrolet Trailblazer SS with much nicer looking Saab front sheet metal, a far nicer leather interior and all luxury appointments. The 9-7x Aero came standard with an LS-2 Corvette engine, rated at 390 hp, all-wheel drive, and just about every option available at that time.I’ve owned this for just about a year and have driven it about 1500 miles during that time. For me, it was an impulse buy and my first vehicle with an LS engine. I didn’t need it when I bought it, but I fell in love with it at first sight and I'll never regret it. It’s been well maintained mechanically and has no issues, codes or warning lights. Great oil pressure. Ready to drive home anywhere in the country! Original radio/navigation was replaced with a very nice Kenwood Blue-tooth sound/navigation system with backup camera. Other than the radio, vehicle is completely bone stock. Everything works, as it should. Previous owner replaced brakes and tires shortly before I bought it, spark plugs just changed a few weeks ago. Body is in very good shape, with very few minor dings/scratches. At some point during its life it was lightly tapped in the rear, which was repaired, as evidenced by the repainted rear bumper cover. Interior is perfect. A previous owner installed a Trailblazer SS dash cluster in it, which is better looking, in my opinion, than the original cluster. Odometer mileage reads just under 125K, but actual mileage is likely 5-10K higher due to change in the cluster. I also have the original dash cluster to go with the car. With its Corvette heart, this vehicle is an absolute beast and a thrill to drive! Unbelievable acceleration, along with great handling for an SUV and an incredibly smooth ride. Not that it should matter with a performance vehicle like this, but I’ve achieved a consistent 17-18 mpg on lengthy highway trips with it. Selling my 2008 Saab 9-7x Aero, one of 442 Aero models made that year and one of only 554 total production from 2008 – 2009. This is a rare vehicle to begin with, and getting rarer every day. This is essentially a Chevrolet Trailblazer SS with much nicer looking Saab front sheet metal, a far nicer leather interior and all luxury appointments. The 9-7x Aero came standard with an LS-2 Corvette engine, rated at 390 hp, all-wheel drive, and just about every option available at that time.I’ve owned this for just about a year and have driven it about 1500 miles during that time. For me, it was an impulse buy and my first vehicle with an LS engine. I didn’t need it when I bought it, but I fell in love with it at first sight and I'll never regret it. It’s been well maintained mechanically and has no issues, codes or warning lights. Great oil pressure. Ready to drive home anywhere in the country! Original radio/navigation was replaced with a very nice Kenwood Blue-tooth sound/navigation system with backup camera. Other than the radio, vehicle is completely bone stock. Everything works, as it should. Previous owner replaced brakes and tires shortly before I bought it, spark plugs just changed a few weeks ago. Body is in very good shape, with very few minor dings/scratches. At some point during its life it was lightly tapped in the rear, which was repaired, as evidenced by the repainted rear bumper cover. Interior is perfect. A previous owner installed a Trailblazer SS dash cluster in it, which is better looking, in my opinion, than the original cluster. Odometer mileage reads just under 125K, but actual mileage is likely higher due to change in the cluster. I also have the original dash cluster to go with the car. With its Corvette heart, this vehicle is an absolute beast and a thrill to drive! Unbelievable acceleration, along with great handling for an SUV and an incredibly smooth ride. Not that it should matter with a performance vehicle like this, but I’ve achieved a consistent 17-18 mpg on lengthy highway trips with it.
